Onboarding

From first inbound to first US order

Getting started with a US 3PL should not mean a long learning curve. Our onboarding runs in four steps.

Member Success kickoff with a new international brand
  1. We kick off with a bilingual onboarding guide

You meet your Member Success contact, agree on service levels for each type of request and get a clear guide to how the operation works.

  2. We connect your channels and load your SKUs

Our IT and Integrations team connects Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon or TikTok Shop and creates each SKU and UPC in our WMS.

  3. We receive and check your first inbound

Your container, pallets or cartons are logged, counted and inspected. Quality control confirms every SKU matches its record.

  4. Your orders start flowing

Once your store is connected, orders reach us automatically. We pick, pack and ship them to your US customers.

Before you ship

What to prepare before shipping inventory to the US

A smooth first shipment depends on having the right information ready before your goods leave home. This is what we ask brands to prepare:

  • A SKU list with UPC barcodes for every product
  • Carton and pallet details for the first inbound
  • Your sales channels ready to connect
  • A packing SOP with any inserts or special instructions
  • Your import arrangements in place with your customs broker and freight forwarder

How it works

How US fulfillment works for international brands

Selling in the US from another country involves three teams, and it helps to know who handles each part of the journey. This is how responsibilities usually split:

01 · YOU

Your team

  • Product data, SKUs and barcodes
  • Sales channels and pricing
  • Packing rules and brand standards
02 · IMPORT

Your customs broker and forwarder

  • Freight from your country to Miami
  • Import documentation and customs clearance
  • Delivery of cleared goods to our warehouse
03 · US

Palletized

  • Receiving, counting and quality control
  • Storage and inventory management
  • Pick, pack, ship, returns and value added services

Our work starts the moment your goods arrive at our Doral warehouse.

FAQ

US fulfillment FAQs

What international brands ask before sending their first shipment to the US.

Can a brand based outside the US work with Palletized?

Yes. Our model is built for brands that sell in the US, including brands headquartered in other countries. We receive your inventory in Miami and handle fulfillment for your US orders across your sales channels.

Do I need my own warehouse in the US?

No. Working with a US 3PL lets you store inventory and ship domestic orders without leasing a building or hiring a warehouse team. If you want dedicated space later, CoWarehouse suites are available month to month.

Who handles customs and the importer of record?

Customs clearance and import documentation are handled by the importer of record and its customs broker. Our part begins when your cleared goods arrive at our warehouse, where we receive, count and inspect them.

Can you receive containers?

Yes. We receive inventory by container, pallet or carton. Each inbound is logged, counted and checked before it goes into storage.

Can I sell on Amazon and wholesale from the same US inventory?

Yes. One inventory pool in Miami can feed DTC, wholesale, retail and Amazon orders, and our WMS keeps stock synced across channels.

How do US customer returns work?

Your US customers send returns to our Miami warehouse. We inspect each item and decide with you whether it goes back to available inventory or follows another disposition.

Can you ship from Miami to other countries?

Yes. Partners use our Miami hub for full container exports to international ports alongside their US fulfillment. Talk to our team about your destinations and volumes.

What should I prepare before sending my first shipment?

Have your SKU and UPC list, carton details, connected sales channels and packing SOP ready, and confirm your import arrangements with your customs broker and forwarder. Your Member Success contact guides you through the rest.

Ready to sell to US customers?

Tell us where you ship from, what you sell and which channels you use, and we will build a US fulfillment plan around your brand.
